The Bug is a Champion!

Hello Pals,

It's been a crazy week here once again, full of parties and celebrations. You see Paige had a show last weekend and from what I heard she showed very well, she showed so well in fact that she won her class and Reserve in Group, which gave her the final four points for her Championship. She is now officially known as CH. Saussurea Spellbound, under the Maltese National Canine Federation. Everyone here is so proud of her. Can't believe my very own younger sister is a champion at just 17 months! What a star! She is also very chuffed about the whole thing, she thinks she made it to the front page of the newspaper. What she doesn't know is that it's a photo-montage done by myself! Hihihihi....

More news today also arrived from Poland. This time, from Paige's mum side of the family. She had a new litter today, two boys: a blue merle boy and a black tri boy just like Paige. Not sure whether it should be a cause for celebration or not though... another two Bugs?! It can't be a good thing right? Let's just hope they don't turn out to be Bugs like their older sister!

Not much else to report, except for a horrendous thunder storm last night with loads of pictures taken from the sky of myself to appear in "Heaven on Sunday". They caused complete havoc of course, with cars being dragged about by the water and floods everywhere. I suppose it's a small price the humans have to pay so that the gods above can enjoy my pictures in their news papers. In case you haven't quite gotten the plot, when the sky lights up, that is not lightening per se`, in reality they are camera flashes from huge photocameras that the gods use to take pictures of me, so that they can put them in their news papers. Unfortunately, when this happens, rain inevitably follows (they're still trying to perfect their technology). Sometimes it floods, and sometimes it doesn't but unfortunately there isn't much I can do. I can hide from the human & dog paparazzi but I cannot hide from heavenly paparazzi of course. So all I can do is just pose, and try to appear good in every shot they take, after all, its not worth angrying the gods!

Anyway pals, I'm off. Still need to get groomed in case another photo-session from above follows.

Speak soon

Another ultra late Blog Post....

Hello Pals,

I'm sorry for yet another late post, but my human has gone back to school and the laptop is never vacant these days, she's either on it or if she's not home, she takes it with her to wherever she goes! The result? I cannot spend any time online. *Sigh* I feel so cut off from the world. Thankfully she is at work today, so I can finally write something and let you know what's going on.

The raining season is finally here. We're not allowed to go out in the rain when the humans are home, but we love it when they're not here. We get to play, bark, sing, jump and roll outside in the rain until we're soaking wet! The gods above also take pictures of us from up there, as the sky is all the time flashing. I am sure they use my pictures in "The God Times" or perhaps "Heaven on Sunday". I guess I'm becoming famous up there as well.  Anyway, the humans are never happy when they get home and find us all soaking wet of course, but they never say anything, so we pretend we didn't notice. Plus of course, they're humans, and they soon forget, especially when we wag our butts and lick their faces. That's a trick Paige thought me. They forget how cross they were, they smile, lean over and give us a hug and a kiss. I guess they figure out how lucky they really are to have ME (and Paige) as their very own Aussies.

Since the "not so hot" weather is back, our exercise routine is back to normal. We get to run around in the fields and go for long walks. I'm sure it won't be long until all the humans have stopped going to the beach and we can finally start swimming in winter. I'm also looking forward to the human's Christmas holidays... we get to go to the beach almost every day :))) Speaking of Christmas, I wonder if that tree will grow again in our living room this year. Paige said that she learnt in Poland that it grows every year round about the same time. She also said white stuff falls from the sky. I never saw it, so probably it's just a figment of her imagination.

In the meantime, my humans took me back to the doctors, but of course I didn't want to go in. What do they expect? The last time I was there, I fell asleep and my family jewels were gone when I woke up. Anyway, it was only for a small jab this time. Not sure what for though. The human said it will all be worth it, so I can go with them to Austria next year. Cool isn't it?! Apparently the Bug and I will get to swim in the lake and run in the mountains. Can't wait!!! :)

Well pals, I have to be off. I hope to speak to you soon, but I cannot guarantee it will be next week, as I said, the human is spending way to much time on her laptop.
