An Injured Sister!

Hiya Pals,

Hope all is well with you. I finally have some piece and quiet. The humans are out, and Paige is fast asleep upstairs. Seeing nobody is around, I can finally sit down on my sofa, with a bowl of Beer and some bacon streaks, and relax.

It's been unusually quiet round here during the past week. The humans took us out for a walk last weekend, and Paige injured her paw while running after her Frisbee. She can be so dumb at times. She didn't manage to catch the Frisbee in the air, so she tried to catch it by skidding on the floor. She has a rather large abrasion at the base of her paw so she cannot walk properly. It's kind of funny in a way, she is walking like a fifteen year old Aussie, all lame. I can tease her all I want because she cannot catch up with me anyway, and she doesn't bug me anymore because all she wants to do is sit in a corner and feel sorry for her self. Anyway, the human had a look at it, she put some cream on it and bandaged it up for her. She looks kind of cute. The human isn't in her good books for obvious reasons!

Guess what? My human traded my squeaking chicken. She finally got ride of that horrendous thing in blue trousers. She put up a blog (SHE'S COPYING ME!, Oh no, she can't be! She doesn't know about my Blog) and asked if anyone was interested in trading something for my Squeaking Chicken and she did it. She traded it for a piece of rock. You can read all about it by clicking here --> http://squeakingchicken.blogspot.com I am so glad she did it. I nearly got a heart attack every time I heard it squeak. It sounded more like a dying baby than a playful toy. I'm just so glad I won't be seeing it or hearing it ever again :) Thank you Matthew for taking the squeaking chicken :)

Anyway pals, I got to be off. There is a cool movie on tonight I want to watch it.

Until next time....

A quiet week...

Hello Pals,

Hope all is well. Sorry for the late post but it took me forever to come to terms with the fact that my humans had my family jewels chopped off. I have finally come to terms with this psychological trauma and have started to accept life and look at everything from a different perspective. I have started to recognize the benefits of being "jewel less" in life such as not having to constantly worry whether I marked the last corner or not and carrying much less baggage at the back! I have decided to go in full coat, and nobody can really tell whether I still have them or not, so I don't have to worry about my friends at school. I am not completely over the shock of losing them, but I can see the positive side of it all.

Life is pretty event less at the moment. It is simply too hot to do anything, so I just spend my time looking from outside the balcony watching the daily life go by from above whilst feeling like a God. The neighbour with the OCD next door is again jealous of my coat and has asked my human to clip my coat. Can you believe it? Who does she think she is? If she thinks I'm letting anyone near MY COAT with a clipper, a pair of scissors or anything else that removes coat she has to think everything all over again. I swear on my treats and my squeaky toy, that if I end up coat-less because of her, I will pluck her hair one by one, lift my leg against her door and pooh write in front of it, and make sure my human doesn't see me so she won't pick it up. Maybe, just maybe, if I'm lucky enough, she will come out of the door and slip on it.

Anyway pals, with that I'll be off. I'm waiting for my humans to get back from shopping so we can go for a walk. They will be through the main door any minute now...

I don't believe this!

Hiya Pals,

I'm fuming! I don't believe this! I really cannot believe this! What were my humans thinking? This is unbelievable and totally unacceptable! How could they? You won't believe what they did to me!!! They took me to the doctor, gave me an injection to sleep and when I woke up... THEY were gone! My precious bits... my family jewels... MY PRIVATE BITS... were GONE! The Doctor had removed them... and instead, she put in 4 stitches! How horrible! I still cannot believe it. It's been 3 days and I still cannot live it down. I keep checking and checking in case they grew back, but they haven't and it says on the internet they won't! What are they going to say at school when they figure I have no... erm.... jewels left?!!!!! And the girls? Is this what a safe date is? Oh! How could they do something like this to me? To me!!! Little innocent me! How could they?!!!!!

Now, I refuse to go out. This has got to be the most horrifying punishment ever... and for what? I don't know what I did wrong. I can take a week of no treats, not going to school, not going out... not receiving cuddles but to cut my bits off?!!!! Utterly unbelievable

And the Bug....!!!! She's been laughing all the time and calling me "missing bits". I hope she has nothing to do with it because if I figure out this is all up to her I swear I will eat all her treats, hide all her toys and destroy her coat.

How could they?

I'm off pals, I have to go and figure out how to grow them back... Otherwise the girls aren't going to even look at me, never mind allow me near them during that time of the year!

My Birthday

Hello Pals,

Hope all is well. As you can see, I am posting my blog way before the 3 weeks have passed. Do you know why? Try and guess.... I guess you'll never guess, so let me just tell you. The humans did not go on holiday. They decided to stay here to celebrate my birthday. How cool is that? They said they stayed because some humans weren't feeling well, but we all know what the true reason was... They just couldn't miss my birthday, could they? One of the humans even took over a week off just to be with me! Can you believe it?

I had a blast of a day on my birthday. They got me a new rope toy and a paddle pool. My very own splashing pool. Can you believe it? I opened it and I wasn't quite sure what it was. Then the human set on the floor and started blowing into this huge plastic thing. Before I knew it, it was there, laid out in front of me and full of water. The Bug thought it was a huge drinking bowl so she started drinking from it, but then I showed her how it is done! I put my paw in to check the temperature, just to make sure it wasn't too cold or too hot, and it was just right. Then I ran and dived into it. Of course Paige did the same! We loved it. Paige couldn't believe it was all over, so she went to roll over in the empty pool. She can be such a funny lass at times. Can't wait till we get to do it again!

Do any of you know what a 'safe date' is? The humans are talking about making me a 'safe date' next week. They said I can have all the girls I want after that. I don't know what it is but I'm kind of looking forward to it. I mean it can't be a bad thing if I get to have all the girls I want, right? They say I can be with the girls even when it is THAT time of the year. I'm kinda liking this. Maybe it is another birthday present, a late one.

Anyway pals, I have to be off. The humans will soon be home from work and I still need to clean the laptop and check downstairs for any disasters Paige might have done while I was writing this blog,
